New Premises for Walton CAB
Walton Citizens Advice Bureau has been operating from its premises on County Road for over 25 years. Over the past few years the need to move to larger premises that will accommodate more paid staff and volunteers has become more and more pressing.
We have now been successful in obtaining sufficient funding from the government's Futurebuilders initiative, Merseyside Social Enterprise Initiative and various charitable trusts to renovate and refurbish new premises in County Road. The new premises will be ready in early 2008 and will be fully accessible for staff and service users.
In the meantime, we have temporarily closed the Walton Bureau as the old premises did not meet Health and Safety or Disability Discrimination Act requirements. Clients from the Walton area are currently being served by the outreach at New Century Halls and the Liverpool Citizens Advice telephone service on 0844 848 7700.
